City Line Florist

Established in 1918 When our Grandfather Charles Roehrich returned home from WWI, he borrowed a horse and wagon and sold flowering plants at the entrance of Saint Michael's cemetery in Stratford, Ct. His father had greenhouses and a windmill on Hollister St in Stratford in the late 1800's where he grew plants and shipped them to New York by train. The Windmill Restaurant is located there now. The business grew and in 1918 he established City Line Florist, named so as it was located in Bridgeport on the Stratford line. In 1976, we relocated to Trumbull, again on the city lines.
